​CONGRATULATIONS! 
MIGP is happy to share some recent accomplishments of the 2021 contestants:
 
Gina Perregrino, 3rd Place Adult Classical Voice, is joining the DEUTSCHE OPER BERLIN as a soloist in the 2021-22 season.  She is currently competing in the Portofino International Opera Competition, she recently sang Jenny in Threepenny Opera with the Atlanta Opera, and will be singing Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviliga with the Delaware Opera in 2022.
 
Avery Boettcher, Finalist in Adult Classical Voice:  Avery will be at Opera Theatre St. Louis for its summer season to cover acclaimed soprano Patricia Racette in La voix humaine, and will sing Violetta Valery in an excerpt from La Traviata in OTSL's annual Center Stage Concert.  She will make her role debut as Mimì in Opera Theatre of St. Louis' filmed production of Puccini’s beloved opera, La Boheme, which is scheduled to be internationally broadcast during the winter holidays. 

Nicole Wacker, 3rd Place Adult Classical Voice (Tie), is joining the ACCADEMIA
TEATRO ALLA SCALA in Milano, Italy, for the 21-23 Seasons.
 
Nikka Gershman-Pepper, 3rd Place Teen Winds & Brass, has been accepted to the
Colburn School of Music in Los Angeles.
 
Brian Wendel, 1st Place in Adult Winds & Brass, released his debut Album “This is Home”.
 
Chantal Braziel, Finalist in Adult Classical Voice, is singing the National Anthem for the
Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Stadium in July, and has also reached the Final Round of the
Medici International Competition.
 
Callie Chae Pyken, Finalist in Teen Popular Voice, appeared in Jane Eyre by Kota Productions.
 
Lily Bell Morgan, 2nd Place in Youth Popular Voice, is appearing in the Refocus Tour at
Theatre Row, and has won several vocal awards at Starquest Competion and more.
